Cookie Policy
Last updated · May 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used by Cloud Hosting Technologies, LLC ("Tagslinger", "we", "us") on tagslinger.com and the Tagslinger software-as-a-service platform (the "Service"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device to remember information about you between requests — for example, that you are signed in, or that you preferred dark mode. We also use closely related browser storage mechanisms (localStorage, sessionStorage) where appropriate. For brevity, this policy refers to all of them as "cookies".
2. Cookies we use
We use only the minimum needed to operate the Service. No advertising or tracking cookies.
- Sign-in session — set when you sign in to a client portal. Keeps you signed in across pages. Cleared when you sign out.
- Theme preferences — remembers your dark/light mode and highlight color so the interface looks the same next visit.
- Form integrity — short-lived, set when you submit a form to confirm the request came from your browser.
3. Third-party cookies
We don't embed third-party trackers on tagslinger.com. The services below set their own cookies on theirpages when you're briefly handed off to them — payments, sign-in, edge security. Their policies govern those cookies, not ours.
- Stripe (checkout + billing portal) — stripe.com/cookies-policy
- Google (Sign in with Google) — policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Microsoft (Sign in with Microsoft) — microsoft.com/privacystatement
- Apple (Sign in with Apple) — apple.com/legal/privacy/sign-in-with-apple
4. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or ad-network beacons.
- No analytics cookies on the customer dashboard. (If we ever enable PostHog product analytics, it will be self-hosted and disclosed here.)
- No cookies, fingerprinting scripts, or trackers on the scanner's device when an end user scans a QR code. The redirect Worker logs only what is described in Section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser's privacy settings. Doing so will sign you out of the Service and reset any theme or interface preferences. Because we use only strictly necessary and functional cookies, there is no "reject all" banner — declining would prevent the Service from working.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. We'll notify workspace owners by email of any material change in the cookies we set.
